LAWS & RULES
FOR THE LSBAE
The laws related to the practice of architecture are established by the legislature. The Louisiana Board of Architectural Examiners establishes the rules which support those laws. All architects are expected to know and follow the laws and rules that affect their profession. The Louisiana Administrative Procedures Act outlines the process by which rules can be adopted and changed, which include a public notice and comment period.
Each year, the Board is required to file a Rules Annual Report with appropriate legislative bodies outlining rulemaking activities for the previous year.
